Visa: J-1 Intern

What the program is

You spend up to 12 months working in an American hotel, resort or restaurant, in the department that matches what you study: front desk, food and beverage, guest services, rooms or culinary. It's real work with real guests, and it reads on a CV.

We handle the parts that slow people down. Matching you with a host company, your DS-2019 and training plan, the visa interview, housing and your first days on the ground. You get straight answers about pay, hours and what the year actually looks like.

You bring the motivation. We'll handle the paperwork.

Where you can work

Hospitality is where we place most people right now, and where host companies ask for interns the most. For hospitality, you can choose from a big variety of actual job openings: you see the positions and you decide which ones you apply for. These are the functions you'll typically work in, depending on your experience and the host company's needs.
